Beginning life as a 'C Code' Mustang, the '65 'Stang has been fitted with new bumpers and windscreen and re-painted in authentic white and blue Shelby Racing colours. Other new 'Shelby' exterior parts include the fibreglass bonnet with racing pins, Shelby side windows, fibreglass body scoops, and GT350 petrol cap.

The re-built 289ci V8 features a four-barrel carburettor and revised camshaft to lift power output to 225hp, while the four-speed Top Loader gearbox has also been freshened up.

Underneath you'll find a new twin exhaust, fuel tank, disc brakes and 15x7-inch Torque Thrust wheels with new rubber. The suspension has been re-set and lowered for better handling with new springs and shocks.

Inside, the all-black interior has been re-trimmed with new vinyl and carpet, with a Shelby steering wheel, dashpod and tacho completing the authentic look.

All up, the Shelby look-alike presents in immaculate condition and has been independently valued at $60,000, which includes 12 months Shannons insurance, delivery and on-road costs.
